Clisto Holdings initiates a position in Tesla Inc., recognising the company not as a conventional automaker but as a vertically integrated energy and artificial intelligence company at the forefront of two of the century's largest structural transitions.
Clisto Holdings confirms the initiation of an equity position in Tesla, Inc. (NASDAQ: TSLA), the American electric vehicle, energy storage, and autonomous driving technology company led by Elon Musk.
The position is established following a period of careful analysis of Tesla's business model evolution — and a growing conviction that the market continues to systematically underestimate the company's long-term earnings potential across three distinct but interconnected business lines.
Clisto Holdings does not view Tesla as a car company. It views it as three overlapping businesses:
The first is electric vehicles — a category Tesla created and still dominates. The Gigafactory network gives Tesla unmatched manufacturing scale and cost reduction trajectory. As battery costs fall and charging infrastructure expands, Tesla's total addressable market grows with it.
The second is energy. Tesla's Powerwall, Powerpack, and Megapack battery storage products, combined with its solar business, position the company as a critical infrastructure provider for the global transition to renewable energy. This is a business of extraordinary long-term scale — and almost entirely absent from current valuation models.
The third is autonomy. Tesla's Full Self-Driving software — trained on the world's largest real-world driving dataset, collected from millions of customer vehicles — represents a potential trillion-dollar software business hidden inside an automaker. The group believes this option is deeply undervalued.
Following a significant share price correction from its early 2021 highs, Tesla offers Clisto Holdings an attractive entry point into a business whose long-term value creation potential has not changed — only its price.
The group intends to hold this position as a long-duration bet on electrification, energy storage, and autonomous transport — three transitions that will define the physical economy for decades.
